Plantar Wart Treatment and Prevention

A Plantar wart is a small growth that affects the heel or other weight-bearing areas of the feet and is very common in many people. A plantar wart is caused by an infection in the outermost layer of your skin and usually enters your body through cuts in your skin. The infection causes the top layer of your skin to thicken, which is why a wart may appear callous.
