MEET DR. MISTRY
Zubeen Mistry, DPM, at DFW Foot and Ankle Care is an experienced Board Certified podiatrist serving the North Dallas area.
He graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then attended Barry University in Miami, where he graduated first in his class with a Doctor in Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Mistry completed an extensive 3-year foot and ankle clinical and surgical residency at West Houston Medical Center in Houston, where he served as chief resident. His residency allowed him to work closely with over 70 foot and ankle surgeons in the clinic, as well as the operating room, and receive direct training from renowned orthopedic, plastic, vascular, and general surgeons. Dr. Mistry is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is an active member of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association
Dr. Mistry’s approach is to work with each patient to create a personalized plan of care for healing and relief of foot pain. He provides surgical as well as nonsurgical care and strongly advocates exhausting conservative care before considering surgery.
Among other awards, more recently, Dr. Mistry was voted Best Foot and Ankle Doctor in Collin County three years in a row in 2022, 2023, and 2024 by D Magazine and Best Foot and Ankle Doctor in Dallas in 2022 by D Magazine as well. Dr. Mistry also currently serves as the Chief of Foot and Ankle Surgery at Medical City Mckinney Hospital
He enjoys treating all foot and ankle conditions from common foot problems, such as heel pain, ingrown toenails, bunions, and hammertoes, to pediatrics, diabetic Charcot reconstruction, sports medicine, ankle pain, flatfoot reconstruction, trauma, and wound care.
Over the years, he has served underprivileged communities through international medical mission trips, volunteer clinics, and several community health fairs.
Dr. Mistry grew up in San Antonio, Texas and is a proud fan of the San Antonio Spurs. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife Sofiya, his son Ryan, and his dog Zola as well as running, hiking, kayaking, and has a passion for health and fitness and regularly participates in running events and fitness races.
